The Boston Celtics dominated the Dallas Mavericks 107-89 in Game 1 of the NBA Finals on Sunday night. Jayson Brown led the way for the Celtics with 33 points, while Kristaps Porzingis chipped in 25.
The Celtics took control of the game early, jumping out to a 15-point lead in the first quarter. They extended their advantage to 20 points in the second quarter and never looked back.
Luka Doncic struggled for the Mavericks, scoring just 20 points on 7-of-21 shooting. Jalen Brunson was also held in check, scoring 16 points on 6-of-17 shooting.
The Celtics' victory gives them a 1-0 lead in the series. Game 2 will be played on Tuesday night in Boston.
